Tropical Cinnamon Gardens Pvt Ltd was established in 2006 to run a rubber and cinnamon estate, produce value added cinnamon products and to set up a eco village tourism project called Cinnamon Village in Horana which is situated in the Kalutara District of Sri Lanka.
The company formed by the Director and Chief Executive Officer, Arosha Jayasundera, who has a passion for nature, sport at national and international levels, organically grown vegetables and fruit and cinnamon value added products. Arosha Jayasundera, was brought up in Italy and London, is a Sri Lankan/British National and has also been a banker for many years. She returned back to Sri Lanka in 1993. Her extended family have owned plantations for many decades in the deep South of Sri Lanka.
Today we are a company based on marketing one of Sri Lanka’s best products - Ceylon Cinnamon which now has its own trademark and genetic coding - whilst promoting sustainability, nature, compassion for people and sport. We share our passion for cinnamon with cinnamon lovers around the world and are keen to offer our clients' the world’s best and genuine cinnamon and a range of value added cinnamon products.
The company is now focusing on cinnamon value added products and has patented and registered these products. We help the community by employing the villagers where possible, use recycled paper for our packaging, make many of our products by hand, have a low carbon footprint as we recycle and reuse and we promote, encourage and market the cinnamon industry in Sri Lanka.
Our value added products are manufactured and produced to the highest standards. This means that the quality of cinnamon and the specialized paper and other products are unique and outstanding, thereby offering consumers a wide range of visual, food and health benefits.
